IAAF World Junior Championships Updates (Cain Blasts New Nat'l Record by Over 3 Secs)

Stay tuned right here track fans, as the conclusion to the Outdoor season is surprisingly, and finally, upon us.  The IAAF World Juniors are being held in Barcelona, Spain as you read this, and you can look no further for the results than right here.

Here's who to look for

 

For those non-NY'ers, Ajee Wilson of Neptune went 2:02.43 to qualifiy for the finals in the 800m run.  That's US #1 for 2012.  She has also0 now went 2:00.91 to secure her dominance in the finals.

Quote: “I was expecting it to go out a little faster, but the first two laps were really slow so I wanted to pick it up.” said Nerud. “I was waiting for someone to take it out. I didn’t want it to be a kicker’s race. (My coach) told me to run my own race.”
